That kid talked on his interview like he was lawyered up. He’s giving excuses while saying there’s no proof. He’s being real careful with his words and not over speaking. Guilty people talk in abstract ways. That dude’s a cheater. Just like Jeff Sprague.

Guess I’m the odd person out, sounded like a kid who thinks he didn’t do anything wrong. “If” he got the info, the way he says, can’t be against the rules.
Now maybe he’s a cheater and maybe he’s not, either way we won’t ever know.

Slick just posted that McKinney is having to take a polygraph, along with Tyler Williams (who apparently passed) and that McKinneys mom is supposedly yelling and getting after the BASS officials for I guess mistreating her kid. From what I can tell McKinney needs to pop the titty out of his mouth and tell his mom to cut the cord.

I failed a polygraph in a tournament about 35 years or so ago. The question they said I failed was “did you stake out the fish?” I wasn’t even sure what that question meant when they asked it. I did absolutely nothing wrong. We followed every tournament rule to the letter. There had been some of the usual whining about us fishing. It seemed to be because we had some pretty low dollar equipment yet we were doing pretty well. It started with someone putting out a rumor that we were fishing with live bait which we weren’t. After this I had a whole other perspective on the tournament polygraph. I knew it wasn’t accurate. It was horrible to go through all the accusations knowing I had done absolutely nothing wrong. People go around thinking a polygraph is accurate. They are not even when done under conditions that are more controlled than tournaments. Maybe the JY Thompkins thing is the same? If he had said in the polygraph “yes, I got waypoints then that would be cut and dry.”

With all the cheater boxes they have on the front of there boats and they DQ the guy for get advice about way points from somebody hell polygraph that entire field 99.5% would fail the test.
B.A.S.S. official need to get there heads out of the clouds and get better drugs or get there heads out of there arses if they think just one one guys doing this.
