It's in specific spots. Not throughout the whole lake.

When we fished way back in April there was grass in Housen and 6 Mile, but just north of there in Lowes creek there wasn't any.

Have not been back since but I assume there is just a lot more by now in those creeks and several more.

Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

Toledo Bend is really fishing good right now. I happen to stay on the lake and since they quit releasing water the fishing has took off. I'm catching them 10 - 18 foot on Carolina rigs and drop shots. the only difference is this year compared to years past I've hade to downsize my baits to get hook ups. I usually throw big baits this time of year but after so many swing and misses i switched to smaller baits like a baby brush hog or a trick worm on Carolina rig and they are choking it. had an 8 lb. plus fish Saturday morning on baby brush hog. I am around or north of the bridge and fishing the end of ridges or main lake humps (no grass where I'm fishing). There is grass north of the bridge and in the right areas extremely good grass. however I am not fishing grass i am fishing channel swings and drop offs. Saturday i caught close to 25 fish in 2 1/2 hours and been able to duplicate this at multiple areas last couple weeks. Also catching a few cranking.
