Has anyone ever thought about renting out their fishing boat? I have a second boat that we don't use much.

I see Pontoon and Ski boat rentals at most lakes, but not a nice set up fishing rig. Just wondering if there would be a demand for that.

Guess it would depend on your location. Legalities ie. rental agreement/ insurance requirements would also be a big concern.

I bet the deposit is $300+. The Enterprise rent a wreck, here, charges $300. So I can't see a boat being any less.

Good way to ruin a boat. I think I will save that job for myself. Rent a boat would be a good way to throw monet away. BOAT (BringOnAnotherThousand) just my thought.

I thought only boat repair places rent boats and the rental boats are all beaters. That way, they'll tell you on the spot how much the damage is going to cost.

Imagine renting out a fiberglass boat and someone smashes it into the dock, gravel, and or rocks. Pontoon boats getting the tar beat out of the floats.
