We had thunderstorms passing thru last night. I awoke this morning to find my deck covered in leaves.

This cannot be the beginning of leaf season. Not ready. Not yet…

Did see some red scattered in the trees along the shoreline.

Just had a guy remove two 75 foot sycamore trees this week so it should make this fall a little easier... The oak will still drop a ton and a half of acorns though... Dan

That won't happen around here till around Thanksgiving. We still have at least 2 more months of summer heat.

My oak trees are the bane of my existence. Quadrillion acorns. Every year.

Our neighbors have a big oak about 6-8 feet from the property line. I think more acorns fall on our place than theirs. HATE 'EM!!!

The two sawtooth oaks I have in the front drop about 17 metric tons of acorns. I can't keep up. But the neighbor's massive crepe myrtle that hangs over our fence keeps me busy scooping the buds out of the pool on a daily basis. YAY!

I complain but if all the trees around our place were gone tomorrow, I'd be pretty bummed.

Certain trees around here in East Texas are dropping leaves, but it is because of heat and lack of rain, not the fall dump of leaves. Probably a couple of months away for that.

I don’t miss the three huge oaks we had in our yard, they almost kilt me every year. There are a lot of oaks in this area, but I no longer have to pick up after them

The only thing my Arizona Ash trees are dropping this year are cicada shells. They're everywhere.
