You may get 2 days without a charge... Once they drop below a certain voltage they shut down faster than KFC at 9p... No warning... I now charge my lithiums just like the old lead... Once off the water they're on the charger until completely charged then unplugged... The only advantage (besides weight, and that can even be a disadvantage) with lithium is they run like hell then and then they're dead... Lead slowly loses its power... Dan

Something was connected incorrectly. Combining charging leads, increasing available charging amps, isn’t going to hurt anything. My guess is the wiring polarity was mixed up. Again, just a guess, but I have been wiring DC systems since 1986 on everything from cars, motorcycles, RV’s, boats, yachts. You name it.

Won’t lie, first thing I’d do after getting the boat back, would be to throw the PP Charge away. It shouldn’t be complicated and that thing sounds like it is.

Thats the plan. I keep going over everything in my head on what could have happened. This is probably the most expensive and complicated charger on the market. If you don't have your batteries configuration along with the amps put into the app that has to be done exactly right on your phone, you run into big trouble. I'm sure I have something on the app that is not quite right. The batteries charge according to what you put into the app. I plan on taking the power pole charger out and replacing it with a charger that has one set of leads that specifically charges a single 36v and the 2 other set of leads go to 2 12v batteries. This whole phone app thing is just too much for me to deal with. Anyone out there want to buy this charger I will be selling it a lot less than what it costs. I will be posting it on facebook market place.

I have never understood the concept of fishing for multiple days without charing batteries. If you are gong to be remote without power, you can purchase a small generator reasonably or most modern trucks have the capability of powering a charger.
