I’d be way more worried about the water and moisture inside the walls from the attic to the first floor if not dried properly, that’s going to be a a perfect condition for mold growth.
I would check for moisture on the walls and possibly open them up to dry it properly.

Not for me…but if DFitz wanted me to, I would. I would do this for two reasons. Please let me explain.

First, I love DFitz and would do anything I could to help him, if he needed it. Second, my moisture checking work would be quite a distance from the face of that beast in the pic.

In conclusion, yes I would do it for my buddy DFitz.
