How do you store your tube when not being used? Inflated, deflated, rolled up etc.
Looking for opinions, just got a tube today.

lightly packed in a plastic tote box..... never had a problem......and the fins, life jacket, rod holder and other trinkets are all in the box in one place.

Just my humble experience over decades, it's easier to say how NOT to store them,

When stored fully inflated, sometimes the fabric is pulled apart at the seams because of the prolonged stress.

When stored wet, especially in a closed container- it sometimes causes mildew. Might be okay if they are completely dry in a closed container, I haven't tried that.

Sometimes the coating will flake off at the creases, if they are kept folded during storage. Rolling is better than folding if it's necessary to store them compactly.

Most manufacturers recommend they be stored with the bladders aired up just enough to roughly keep their shape in a cool dry place, and I would add where rodents/ insects (especially squirrels,) can't get to them. I hang mine out of the way from the ceiling in a shaded storage building, using a rope harness Cradle.

Porta has a good point on how not to store it. Mine is folded up in an unlabeled copy paper box. It's either in the garage or in the attic above the garage. I haven't seen it in a few years.

As someone who does not have a float tube, but has seen the effects of storing things without drying them completely, you want to make sure it is 100% dry before storing it.

Drying is critical.
