can it be enforced by officials and will it increase viewership? Its an interesting idea and I think it may happen based on Skeets recent BTL interview. It has been basically verified BASS isn't going to limit it in 2025 other than screen inch max and transducer number limit.

Like most other things they've done. Gimmicky, and not relatable to the standard "pro" fishing fan base. But doesn't matter what they do, they'll likely change it half way through the season anyways.

While I think it would be a long term mistake, if they banned it they could offer exemption to all the old bigger names that are on their way out of BASS. It could morph into a legends tour which would be of interest to some. Probably a short term bump in interest over the next 5 years. But in 10 years it might kill it dead.

If all the baits being sold are for FFS and sales are still good on FFS, does that really determine whom their audience is or what their audience wants to see?

And yeah, we all want to see big bass busting frogs; but that’s the rarity tournament.

I hope they do it, NPFL MLF or BASS it its a FFS dominated event I turn it off. Heavy Hitters was the best tournament of the year by far.

Still trying to figure out the Either/Or mindset. I personally don't mind watching so called Scopers especially two of my favorites Dustin Connell and Jacob Wheeler. I can watch them Scope and catch fish and also there's a chance of seeing DC crush some fish in a foot of water on a Swim Jig or Flipping like on Palestine in Heavy Hitters years ago. Or some of my favorite Wheeler catches in Shallow water with a Chatterbait or some Monsters on his Frog. But I am just fine watching John Cox do his thing without electronics at all sometimes or Alton Jr with his various techniques and flipping that goofy looking bait he crushes them on. Heck I could even watch hours of Rick Clunn fishing even if he ends up in 90th place, or Jason Christie or Gerald Swindell. I think it has already somewhat morphed into working a little of everything on a lot of lakes with and without FFS and don't know what the future holds to need to have decisions to make on future technology.

Just make it available during practice and ban it during the actual tournaments. Simple.
