Lake Fork Anglers (LFA) Bass Fishing Club Tournament Results: 8/08/2024
LFA Tournament – A member’s best 5 bass 10 inches and over count towards total weight scored.

28 Members braved the heat today, and a lack of any meaningful breeze that made it feel even hotter.
If the heat wasn’t bad enough, the fish were even less cooperative. There were only 48 bass caught
and released, though this did include three lunkers over 5 lbs. Only one member managed to catch a
five-bass limit, while seven members did not catch any bass. Tough fishing in the dog-days of summer.

1. Dennis Bubinas with 3 Bass @ 10.86 lbs.
2. Alf Tuggle with 3 Bass @ 8.49 lbs.
3. Herb Powell with 5 Bass @ 8.05 lbs.

1. Terry Thompson with 2 Bass @ 9.96 lbs.

The Lake Fork Anglers (LFA) tournaments are two-person catch and release tournaments held every Thursday.
Two club tournament formats are rotated weekly.
• LFA – best 5 Bass over 10”
• Hard Core – all Bass over 10”
Members are mostly seniors, with membership open to all persons who are physically able to fish and function
