Looks like HD is murdering itself from within. May be time to buy a few vintage bikes and store them away for a while.

โ€œ Harley-Davidson motorcycles have faced a sharp decline in perceived value among bikers since his arrival, said Terranova, who ran a Harley-Davidson dealership in Colorado for over 40 years.

"A vintage Harley valued at $30,000 just a few years ago is now getting only $4,000," said Terranova.

"People donโ€™t even want to be associated with Harley anymore," he added, expressing his opinion.โ€

The association with HD is alive and well here in E. Tennessee... Dan

"...others are removing the Harley-Davidson name from their motorcycles."

Now that's really taking a stand.

First I've heard of this. Curious what statements that guy has made or policies he has implemented.

We had a stretch where we were losing 10 plus riders in
Fatalities a year. Now itโ€™s tapered off. I donโ€™t feel I see as many bikes. I wonder if the decline in driving skills by the general public is pushing people out of riding.

Seems like I see a lot of chopper types built over the last 20 years being sold for what the engine is worth.
