The Ray Hubbard Bass Club is having our eighth meeting of the year this Tuesday August 6th at 7:00PM. Our meeting are held at the Flying Fish Restaurant at Firewheel Town Center in Garland. The address is 4430 Lavon Dr, Suite 388, Garland, TX 75040. We’ll be in the back room. We're taking memberships for the new year. Membership costs $30.00 and that includes your entire immediate family. Our Treasurer Garrett Browne and our Secretary Jay Browne will be the ones to see. If you are a new member, pay your fee, fill out the Information Sheet and hit the Sign in Sheet and you're all taken care of. Returning members with no info changes, just pay your membership and Sign in and they will mark you paid and you're all set. NEW MEMBERS MUST attend a meeting to join.

We'll go over results from our July tournament on Cedar Creek Lake. Fishing was summer time tough so if you went home with a little spending money. you get to tell us all a fishin story.

We'll talk about our next tournament that will happen this Saturday August 10th on Lake Tyler. The tournament will go out of Lake Tyler Marina. Registration will start at 5:00AM. Full details can be found here in the Bass Clubs section. We'll answer any and all questions and go over tournament day procedures and any rules specific to RHBC. We'll talk about off limits, hazards and both fish and people care! We'll do Partner Finder for anyone needing a ride for Tyler and we'll collect for the Super 7 Pot for the first team out of the money. $10.00 per boat is what that costs.

We'll go over info for our September tournament on Lake Cypress Springs. First cast that day will be 6:45. We will choose a lines out time and talk about the ramp we will use. If you have any updated info on the Overlook Park construction project please let us know

We'll hand out the hats and shirts that were ordered

We'll go over how to qualify for both AOY and the Club Championship on November 9-10, that will be held on Lake Pat Mayse. We'll talk about the Community Events you can participate in to qualify for AOY and the Club Championship.

We will talk about the Ninth Annual Fish For A Cure that will happen on Sunday October 27th. We need some good news on the sponsor front! We need prize donations. new sponsors and volunteers. I will have both sponsorship packets and Event Flyers to hand out.

Hope you can make it out! Remember, if you want to fish Tyler you have to have joined by Tuesday night! You do NOT have to be a member to attend. Flying Fish has great food and they will have some specials for us so come hungry! Remember 15% of your check is being donated to FFAC so turn in your receipts! Looking forward to seeing everyone!
