2005 90 yamaha 2 stroke trim the motor down and it rises back up witout using the switch help please gene

Check the relays that control tilt and trim. Or, it could be a short in the wiring.

This is correct. ^^^ I would check the wiring really good first. Most of the time the relay comes into play is when the motor will only trim up or down but not both. Still easy to replace if that is the culprit.
