Not sure when it started but It woke me up around 4:15. Was quite heavy at times and steady for now. AccuWeather says to continue till around 5:45. Humidity will suck this afternoon, but I welcome the rain...

Yeah I checked last night before I went to bed, was like zero % chance of rain, so I left my boat uncovered with stuff out I didn’t want to get wet, and heard thunder this morning so rush out there in my underwear and flip flops to cover it up lol, it came out of no where.

We could get up to 10 inches of rain out of this tropical depression thing that crosses Florida tonight through tomorrow.

Dawg, welcome to Florida summers filled with storms, summer downpours, heat and humidity. All small prices to pay for a piece of paradise I know.
I got out at 5 AM to check on a vacant house of mine this morning and we got hit HARD in the Lewisville, Highland Village area. Freak storm for sure.
Lots of tree limbs, large trees and debris everywhere along with the occasional trash can blown into the street. It was video game-ish driving around all the debris.

Yup, hear thunder every day, we had lightning strikes very close to us Thursday afternoon. But what’s been missing so far is the violence Texas storms bring with them, particularly big hail. I know a hurricane can bring major destruction, many people that live in our development moved here from coastal parts of Florida because they were negatively impacted by a hurricane

Looks like I`m fixing to get some rain. It`s about 4 miles N of me right now. My deer lease is getting soaked right now. Bring it.

No complaining here, will take every drop. Just got pasture baled yesterday so this helps to start the new growth
