My son makes 5” soft plastic swim baits. He can hand-pour any pattern you’d like. Bite and Fight Angler. He lives in Alvin, TX.

There’s some baby bass he made for me. I had him put red eyes in them. He also made me some bluegill patterned soft plastic swimbaits. I think he has them on his website.

It's really funny how many people don't read the whole question. There are so many good to great hard glides out there, it all depends on how much money you want to spend on them. The more expensive ones tend to be really good out of the package but you have to do your homework on which ones that are more consistent. You can buy 2 of the same baits and they are totally different, even the high dollar baits.

I was in Bass Pro in Bossier City and ran across their brand of large swim baits, a descent price and they look about as good as anything out there. I haven't bought any yet but plan to soon.

Definitely consider a Mattlures HardGill. They come in a couple different sizes, several color options and multiple swimming actions. I have acquired dozens of hard swimbaits over the years and none of them outperformed those baits.

The non-response was fairly predictable.
