Guess it depends on size of cables you already have. 6 gage is the standard for operating Trolling motors irregardless of type battery.

If your wiring worked fine with lead-acid, it will work fine with lithiums. Lithiums have slightly higher nominal voltage, which actually reduces the current going through the wiring, and voltage drop.
