Wondering if any of y’all have had to deal any with garmin? About 3 weeks ago I called them to tell them I was having trouble with my Livescope so they sent me a email of everything they wanted me to do the next time I went back out. I did everything they said and still had issues so they emailed me saying they wanted pictures and videos of what was going on. Got everything they wanted and sent it to them and I haven’t heard back from them yet. I’ve had it on the boat nearly 3 years now and has worked great until recently. I’m just wondering are they just that slow at getting back in touch or do I need to call them everyday until I figure out what’s wrong with it

Always been good to me but I've not had any issues in a couple years. Used to have Lowrance before and theirs was the worst CS I've ever seen, took them a whole summer to replace a sonar under warranty, this was right after Linda Colt got canned

Called them on the water with LS issues and they had me do everything you said and walked me through it. Had me send my transducer in the next day and received a new one about a week later, great CS in my experience.

Just call them again. All the CS folks have access to your case. I've had great luck with most of them but there is that occasional dud...

Are you outside of warranty period? Transducers don’t last forever. Garmin is great if you are within warranty period.

I have never had a bad experience with Garmin customer service in or out of warranty. One of the best in the industry in my opinion and they have taken care of a few of my friends as well.

Amazing customer service, the email service is subpar. If you call them you will get better help and your problem fixed 10 times faster.

I had the same circus run around as the original poster with Garmin Customer service. Issue was not resolved. still have lagging in my system from their corrupt software update (they admitted they know it is the reason for the lag but do not have a fix.... maybe next month was what I keep being told). horrible and I bought the preloaded software update on a SD card directly from them..... isnt that a kick in the a!!

I bought a Garmin watch a couple of months ago and after owning it for two weeks I accidentally cracked the glass face. I started a chat with Garmin to inquire about getting it repaired and the gentleman sent me a brand new watch. All I had to do was put down the $250 deposit for the cost of the new one and they refunded me once my old one got to their warehouse. I was very impressed Rhys they would replace a watch when it was no fault of theirs.

Same experience as the original poster. 3 months and still no resolution. Have done all the videos, proof of purchase, photos, etc. Seems like they just want to kick the can down the road. Also agree that calling is better than e-mail. Once they move you to e-mail, it's over.
