Thank you to everyone who fished with Stacked Up Fishing in July!
August weekends Available!

Fish have moved to the summer pattern! Sand bass are being caught on the tops of humps and points. Some early morning top water action is happening as well! Meat Haul August is about to happen where we catch limits with multiple techniques!

903-521-7642 to Book!

Won't be that way for long by consistently taking those numbers of fish to the cleaning station. Just say'in!

I don't think 1 guide taking taking clients out and catching their legal limit will have an impact on Tawakoni.

I wonder if a striper or hybrid guide would benefit by offering catch and release only and at a reduced rate ? No fish to clean has to mean something !! Or reduced numbers on the heavily fished lakes like Tawak or Texoma That would entail more man power to enforce etc..

Paul and I caught and released 21 hybrids and 1 striper yesterday, we caught and released at least that many last Wednesday.

The fish are there.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

Thanks guys! I’ve been fortunate enough to have many customers only wanting to keep a few but we catch and release all day. So for me it goes both ways. Some catch and keep a limit, some keep a few and release a ton. Gotta remember the hybrids and striper are stocked fish. They are literally put into the lake with the intention of being harvested. They do not spawn or reproduce naturally. There will be another batch put into the lake by Tpwd. The sand bass….well, some would argue to keep more of them so the bait fish population stays strong. We are fortunate on Tawakoni that both the Shad and sand bass have had awesome spawns and there are plenty of them in the lake. Looking forward to getting back on the water and posting more happy customers and big catches! All artificial for me the rest of the year!
