I recently got an ear full from some FJB karen cultist that the homeless are no longer homeless, they are now "unhomed", WTF?

What is the difference? They still are unproductive, crazy or lazy.

I guess dumb people are now "unsmart", ugly people are "unpretty" and the rest of us are unprepared for all this craziness

We heard this several months ago and I about lost my [censored] as well. This world is making terms so there's no excuse that you're not making it in life as a person who brings something to society.

This kind of word play is a desperate strategy that has become way too common.

I went through being homeless for two years. I never begged you or Karen for a dime. I cleaned toilets at a dinner. Cleaning piss with my hands and a rag.

I'm glad y'all could hash out your political nonsense names.

I just pray it never happens to you.

Being homeless / unhoused is nothing to make light of, we have a son who's dealing with this, by his own choice, so I have empathy for anyone going through it.

Apologies if my post came off as putting down the situation. For me, it's the forcing of names by others that sets me off. Why do I need to change a term that some don't think is right? I don't go off the hinge when I hear someone say phillps head vs plus head, or clip vs magazine.

Thank You. I hope I didn't come across as crass.

You see, there's two worlds. The money world and the other. It's hard to explain but after awhile. People don't want to come back. They don't want the rat race of every day being dependent on money. In a way, they go feral. I've seen a man in his 70's and you couldn't give him a house. He was feral as an alley cat. He'd get all the food he wanted. Because nobody is going to let another human being starve. Same with me. People will offer food all the time.

Homeless or unhomed. Proper term is feral. And there's a window of being able to bring that person back to domesticated. After the window of time. They're gone. They'll never be what other people expect them to be.

Try some urban camping. Because that's what it is. Don't take a shower for a week. Take a sleeping bag and experience what the feral do.

Karen's heart is misplaced. She's also the one that'll, 'give' you $50 for some alone time. $50 bucks on top of her paying for the room. Old ladies are something else. Horny like you wouldn't believe.

Everybody goes through something, some people went overseas and killed (unalived) people on your behalf, so you could be free to make the bad decisions that landed you homeless.

Honestly, the majority of the "unhomed/unhosued" homeless people are people that used to live in state institutions so they could not harm others, themselves or be a burden on the general public. The way they live is a breeding ground for TB and many other diseases. But somebody decided that taking care of the mentally unstable "unhomed/housed", feeding them, housing them, providing free medical and mental health care and giving them a free place to live out a life in a safe environment was cruel and "unnice".

The ones that are mentally competent usually have a history of very poor choices in life and do not have the ability to survive life in a normal setting.

Glad you turned the ship around and became able to take care of yourself and get off those nasty streets

Semantics....."emotion based" drivel.... designed to create division..... to virtue signal that you're an evil A-hole and they're morally superior to you, etc etc etc.

My advice is this, either ignore them (which is what i do the vast majority of the time) OR, if you choose to debate, be armed to the teeth with information as theirs will likely be very, very shallow.

When Trumps wins re-election, they will call it the "Homeless" again.

They are coming up with new words to remove the stigma associated with "homeless". It's not the end of the world.
