First off Tawakoni is fishing awesome! This lake is making it easy on me and my guests. We are started out at 6am running to the south end of the lake. Stopped over a couple of spots with live bait catching a few sand bass. Ran across the lake to find schooling fish. The top water action was some quick but the fish stayed put and we caught them for about an hour. Ran over another hump scanning and found bigger marks. Both Bo Blades and Live bait put hybrids in the boat! Finished up the day trolling over a few spots and catching sand bass. Afternoon was sand bass galore! Catching all fish on bo-blades in 12-14fow. Luckily for me it was catch and release bc these guys caught and released over 100 fish! Most every point has fish on it. We even ran up to schooling fish at 2pm! They were just really active! Some big schools of fish right now. I had a striper or hybrid hit a dead shad at the boat that I had thrown off the hook. Never seen that happen.
