Wife and I have discovered the best way to beat the heat. We pack up and come to Minnesota for July and August. We’ve been here two weeks so far and the highest temp has been 85. It was 74 yesterday.
And the fishing is off the hook! We go catch our walleye limit in the morning the go wack 3 and 4 lb smallmouth the rest of the day! The fishing is good everyday.

We enjoy the Red River and Taos area. We have never stayed in Taos but may have to do it after seeing your video. It is beautiful and cooler there, a nice getaway from the Texas summer heat. We went this past May and am planning to see the fall colors in late September or Early October this year. Taking our new ATV on the trails this time.

Its a beautiful area my Mom lives in Santa Fe, NM, heck majority of homes do not have AC units. I'd like to take an UTV out there and ride trails just not familiar enough with those.
