I've been using Invizx for over 20 years and have had very few breakoffs. None from bad line. I caught a 9.16 on 8lb test in April and was never worried about breaking off.

Although all I use is Sniper for all my rods with fluro there's one exception. My dropshot spinning rod, on that I use 10# Invizx for a leader, never had an issue with it and have caught a few over 8# on it. thumb

I would maybe risk it with 10 pound invisx, I think I tossed my 6 and 8 pound invisx in the trash, way to weak.

I’ve explored 6,7,8,10 pound sniper, it is all far superior to invisx and marginally larger diameter pound for pound. It’s all I use for steelhead and big brown trout, these fish are 5-20 pounds and in current. No problems ever. Very abrasion resistant while fishing around zebras

I’ve caught multiple 8s,9s,3 10s, 1 11 and 1 13 on 12 and 15 pound invisx, but no way with their lighter line. Blue label, gold label, red label, no label, doesn’t matter, that stuff is only fit for the trash can.

cheers

I prefer AbrazX over InvizX for leader line. More abrasion resistant… As the name implies.

I quit using line to line and started using a swivel. I found that I lose no sensitivity, I can quickly change hooks, weights, etc. with a new leader. I use the spro power swivel size 10, it's rated at 32 lbs.

All my setups I use 20 lb braid, 8-10 lb flouro leader, Roboworm Rebarb hook, and cylinder weight.

How far up the line are you putting swivel and does the swivel go through the rod guides ?

I keep my leader at around 2-3'. Nothing crazy long. I don't want it to pass through my rod guides, so I don't have an issue with it. I've been using this method for over 10 years and have caught many 4-6 lb fish on this setup. I lost a 10+ on it, but that was my fault, it went under the boat / motor, got the whole rig back and not one issue on the leader, hook, swivel.
