Fished Tawakoni yesterday from 6:40 AM to 1:40 PM with friends Cliff and Bruce. We spent the 1st 1 ½ hours looking for surfacing fish near the dam. That produced nothing, then we started looking for fish on structure at the Propeller and Tallman but didn’t find any until Sun South. We caught a good number there, then Sun West, and Cloud. As we approached Cloud fish surfaced and we caught quite a few there. Then we checked Bulls-eye (nothing) and Figure Eight (a bunch but a boat was trolling over it) so we went to the Stump and caught a few there. We next went to Wolf and as we got to the north end of it, we ran into surfacing fish again. Caught a bunch before they stopped, then went to the Thumb and finished catching fish there. For the day we totaled 191 (176 white bass, 8 legal hybrids, 3 short hybrids, 3 more that pulled off, 2 cats, a yellow bass, and a drum).

Cliff caught most of his on a homemade white BoBlade, Bruce with a white/yellow BoBlade, and me with a yellow BoBlade, a white homemade BoBlade, and a Panther Martin. Most fish were caught in 8 to 18 fow.

we were out there today pretty much the same time frame and areas. didnt see any surfacing fish and caught no hybrids, sand bass and one catfish tried minnows under two mile for crappie but struck out there too. did hit a piece of steel out kinda east of the ramp at holliday coming in. skinned the prop and chipped the skeg. was on idle too. good report!

DC's neighbor Graham joined me yesterday 3pm to 8:45 pm Friday 7/19. We caught 117 with 8 legals.
We spent 5 hrs earlier at the TM repair shop. I also upgraded my TM battery from 3 AGMs to one single 36v 100ah lithium. After almost 6 hrs of fishing the Bluetooth app shows i have 86% left
