I think you missed the point, the news is always on Chicago.
When was the last time you heard about the problems in New Orleans, nobody knows the mayor there, but everyone can picture that crazy old women that was mayor or Chicago. Oh we understand all the large cities have little war zones that would make Mogadishu blush.

I've been thru Cicago but stayed in Hoffman Estates. No way I would live up there, but I was nice where I was. Schaumburg was nice too.

Too be honest here, most large cities in this country already is a war zone. What is the common denominator here?

I've been thru Cicago but stayed in Hoffman Estates. No way I would live up there, but I was nice where I was. Schaumburg was nice too. The northwest suburbs is just about as safe as anywhere. The only thing sketchy is the train that feeds into downtown. In the winter, when it’s cold, all the drug addict bums ride the trains all day and night to stay warm. All the way to the end of the line, and back downtown.

I guess the closest we get to a civil war is just a typical Saturday night in Chicago… I always find the term “civil” war a bit funny- it’s like “gentlemen’s” club… Chicago gets a bad rap, media induced propaganda, look at the stats sheets, there are far more dangerous cities in America if we are talking gun violence and murder rates. Yup…Memphis, St. Louis, Detroit, …
