No civil war...just a bunch of keyboard commandos spewing their rhetoric on the 'Net.. Lots of big talk, chest thumping and no action....and the world will move on.

Are you kidding? Americans are too fat and lazy to walk across a parking lot. They fight over a spot closer to the door.
Yeah. Civil War.
It only takes a few percentage of people

We are already in one now.... just by proxy. Yup, things change throughout time, including how battles are fought

We had a stolen election and it didn’t cause a civil war- you need two sides willing to fight, the energy isn’t there.

I’m sure a lot of people in 1861 had your same view. I see history saying you will have to choose. Of course there will be those that choose to just go with the flow and not stand up for what you believe. In 1814 we took a little trip. can you do that 1 ? You’re darn right…I was playing that’n in the early 80’s. There’s no sweeter sound than hearing a hundred or so drunks barking the “hut, two, three, four” part in unison at 2 or 3 in the morning at some VFW hall or roadside dive. Cheers

I think people are missing the point here. Lets go to the original question that was ask, Would the assassination of Trump caused a Civil War?
History provides us that answer, The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary on June 28, 1914, got everything rolling for World War I.
I will go with the fact here, yes, it could/would cause a Civil war if it would cause a World War.

Our govt funded propaganda machine was running cover for them and a violent war wont start on maybes. Its hard to know fact from fiction, but Elon has sure made it easier and has done more for humanity in recent times than anyone I can remember.

I will go with the fact here, yes, it could/would cause a Civil war if it would cause a World War. Totally different time in history. A civil war in America today would require people to give up the relative levels of comfort they live in, could reset the dollar- lose retirement accounts, etc. A hundred years ago the average person lived in conditions not too far off from civil war anyways.

I will go with .9999 it would not cause a civil war, .0001 it would......... how bout that. Do you have a different set of numbers in your mind.

I guess over time the meaning of Civil War could become Civilized War and kids in the future will be able to study how it was back in the day when folks fought with words in places like the Bunker.

I can find other examples where leaders were killed, shot really and it caused some serious problems between nations. But for one man being killed by an assassin it did caused over 53, 000 Americans to die and over 63,000 to be injured. Over 100,000 Americans fought because of one mans assassination. I would venture to say if you had ask any of those that lost a loved one during that war, you would hear them tell you their percentage was 100%

I truly think if you would have ask many people back then they would say they was living in comfort compared to 150 years ago, even 50 years ago, the comparison of time is all relative to that time period. We think back to lets say the 1950's we sure do live in a more comfort style world than then. A/C is homes everywhere, A/C in cars, TV in every home, Microwaves, I can list a good 500 items that would make it much better than 100 years ago, 75 years ago.
