I read that they are evaluating opening Pecan & Pond later this week. Keep an eye on their FB pages as this is where you seem to get the best updates.

Fishing is actually good too. I’ve been 4 times since it opened. Had an 11 which is about the biggest I’ve ever caught out there, handful of 8s and a bunch is 7s and quite a few smaller ones.

Johnson Branch ramp open 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Isle Du Bois ramp and Jordan ramp are open 6 AM - 10 Pm.

Johnson Branch is not open, I drive by it every day.

TPW website says the ramp is open from 8-430, also spoke with someone on the phone that confirmed that to be correct, but if you say it's not then I guess they're misinformed.

Without pictures it's just a fishing story. Please share...

Tornado went through Johnson Branch before it flooded knocking down a bunch of trees and not sure they have it cleaned up. Gate is locked with a sign out front that says closed. Also IDB is open 8:00A to 8:00P unless something changed.

Then the lady I spoke to at johnson park is lying to me, she said only the ramp is open 8 - 430, the rest of the park is still closed. The person I spoke to at IDB said the ramp is back to being open normal hours, 6AM - 10PM. I used Jordan on the 4th AND 6TH AND LAUCHED @ 6;30 am BOTH DAYS. These changes took place yesterday, 7/15/2024.

Great! Then they should take the sign down and open the gate!
