Got to the lake a little before 7 with the intention of doing a little bass fishing before trying to find any sunnnies that still had lips. The lake was calm with water temperature in the low 90"s. As Steve mentioned in a previous post, I did see some dead fish in several locations. The trash fish (gars, carp etc.) were busy in most places I fished. After trying a couple of hours and only catching 1 small bass, I decided to fish for the little guys. By 2pm I had caught 100 which were all returned to the lake. While looking for bass, I did identify and mark 5 new sunny locations with their lips still intact. All fish were caught with the drop shot using gulp alive minnows' various colors. BTW, I was able to get a picture of a bluegill before he changes colors.

A very Good day Zane...Another tip on getting better color pics....Make sure they are shaded from the direct sunlight. I usually try and put my body between the sun & the fish if there are no clouds. Not sure what happened to the bass bite that was so good 2 weeks ago ? Also...I forgot to mention that the water temp dropped around 10 degrees from last week.
