Everyone gets a trophy!!!... Dan I don’t even know why you’d want that trophy. I would chuck a 25 pounder back in the lake if I got one, and never talk about it

Good grief. I'm sure Ken Duke had an orgasm or two about this.

It’s a real dumb thing they’re doing.
There wasn’t a Florida strain recognized as a different species when the largemouth bass record was broken, we’re pretty sure both fish were either hybrids or mostly Florida strain, so let’s go ahead and keep those records as NORTHERN strain and start a new record for Florida strain, even though we all know, there is no 22 pound pure northern strain swimming anywhere, in the north or south.

I would wager Perry's fish was a Florida strain. Birds move fish eggs all over the place and could have easily dumped some there.-
If it was a stupid idea, you can be assured I have already done it

They always make it seem like Perry’s fish was caught way up in the mountains of north GA somewhere…

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip! #Brockstarama

Kuritas fish is no doubt the true world record.
Too bad when California was in its prime, nobody could get a 23 or 24 pounder, it’s the only place in this country where it’s going to happen.

Everyone gets a trophy!!!... Dan Do you realize that the person who you are saying "everyone gets a trophy" about is one of the top young anglers in bass fishing and in his mid 20's has $700K+ in winnings in pro tournaments? No you do not know because you have no idea what you are talking about most of the time. dot dot dot

Ok, a little clarity, I think. Jason Conn commented on a FB page that most of the big Ivie fish, were caught on an Alabama rig and Kyle’s fish was NOT. I’m figuring that means that an A-rig doesn’t meet IGFA requirements. (Yeah, I’m real smart like that, lol. ) This is why Conns lake record would not qualify for the new FL strain record.
