This time of year there is almost always some topwater somewhere. With the lake still 3' high it has scattered some of the traditional spots. A good place to start is the islands. Get there about an hour and a half before sunset. Watch for birds and boats. Lot of birds roost on the islands at night and they will come in a bit early just to feed on shad getting pushed up against the bank or the high spots between the islands.

Best of luck.

We were there last week and found some topwater action at Washita Point and west of there along the shore about 100 to 500 yards out.

Some top water early morning around Washita Point and at along the shore at the end of the Preston Peninsula. They are not staying up long. By the time you see them and get within casting distance they are back down.

Do a search for Dennison Dam. There is an army corp page just for Texoma and the dam release. As of right now they are releasing 12,800 cfs. All gates are closed and the water being released is all being run through the turbines.
