I build some of my own, but the Stanley FB jigs were some of the best I have used. Seems like I do not get hung up as much with them as I do other jigs. Not sure what will happen to them now that they have been sold off

Santone 3/4 oz. football jigs. Great colors and built well. And the owners are two of the best people you’ll ever meet!
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

I really like santone but I hate that they aren't tied with anything because after a few years on the shelf the skirt collar will get brittle and loose. All you have to do before the skirt collar becomes brittle is to tie the skirt on with a short strand of braided line. It will stay on forever. Pretty simple.

I asked this question not long ago. So far I haven't found one I like better than a 3/4 Oldhams FB Jig. Before I sold my boat last month, I was stroking them pretty good on it.

I use my Berkley ones or the Dirty Jigs. Both are my go-to jigs

I like tying all my jigs and other lures I build this way for maximum flare to the shirts. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2024/07/full-119797-232220-full_119797_229977_facebook_1719200340364_7210848864390627284.jpg)

I've been custom building jigs since 1977 and started adding buzzbaits and spinnerbaits and blade baits to my business. Now ive since retired from manufacturing in 20249. I still build special finesse type jigs using all types of jig heads in different sizes and weights. 45 year now its back to a hobby and more fishing.
