Not really. I have a couple that I bought for tackle storage and rod holders for offshore trips.
They take a beating and I have had no signs of them breaking yet. Holding my breath.

You can buy them at Home Depot. I use them for LP tank transport. An LP tank fits in one perfectly and it keeps the tanks from rolling around in the bed of the truck.

This is correct. I have six or seven of the older, more robust construction ones…I don’t think they make them like that anymore.

My house has a little “cabinet” next to the side door, that’s where the milk use to get delivered.

Milk crates, the still use them here, you can find stacks of them in the alleys.

Problems is they aren’t the nice strong ones, they are kind of flimsy cheap ones these days.

perfect for holding a propane tank for a gas grill or burner. i have a couple of the good ones.
