Us yakkers have snagged them all. You are not one of the cool kids if you do not have a milk crate riding in the back of your yak.

The ones you buy today are weak compared to the old ones, thin plastic.
Not really. I have a couple that I bought for tackle storage and rod holders for offshore trips. They take a beating and I have had no signs of them breaking yet. Holding my breath.

You can buy them at Home Depot. I use them for LP tank transport. An LP tank fits in one perfectly and it keeps the tanks from rolling around in the bed of the truck.

This is correct. I have six or seven of the older, more robust construction ones…I don’t think they make them like that anymore.

When I was in Germany for a few years just about every local area had it's own brewery that covered that area. They would deliver your beer to your front porch in crates they called racks. It would be 20 bottles of beer per rack. Tgey operated similar to a dairy. You just left your empties in the racks on the porch on delivery day.
It was a great system. Hey Beer Money! when you gonna start this up?

My house has a little “cabinet” next to the side door, that’s where the milk use to get delivered.
Milk crates, the still use them here, you can find stacks of them in the alleys.
Problems is they aren’t the nice strong ones, they are kind of flimsy cheap ones these days.
