….you know, the good heavy duty ones constructed with thick plastic….and behind every gas station, Walmart, Costco, grocery store.

I haven’t seen a good one behind a store in years (four years to be precise).

We had a couple of those that we junked when we moved. They’d been around the house holding various items for many years

They use trays now. Something you can't sit on. Low theft potential.

Besides, the later ones were garbage. They'd bust with any kind of weight.

Also stop creeping around behind stores like a junky or gay prosty

Sir; the best way to drive across a big store, is behind the store to avoid speed bumps, crosswalks, slows, olds, and the scooter “dependent”.

I would never gather those large pallets to make ten or so mega brush piles. I would only discourage such behavior.

The crates are perfect for album (LP) and CD storage…small power tool storage, soft plastic and lure organization, all sorts of organization possibilities…also great in the back of a boat to organize anchors, ropes, fire extinguishers, PFDs, lower unit lube, and oil containers)..plenty of uses on a kayak also.

I watched a slo-mo video of Paige Spironac hitting a golf ball yesterday. The milk crates are still out there if you know where to look.

you can find the old ones at garage sales.

Here's what's hard to find - the old oil cans we use to store gas:

I have one I've used for twenty years. The government made them stop manufacturing them in the Clinton years.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

I thought it was because no one can afford milk anymore.

When I was in Germany for a few years just about every local area had it's own brewery that covered that area. They would deliver your beer to your front porch in crates they called racks. It would be 20 bottles of beer per rack. Tgey operated similar to a dairy. You just left your empties in the racks on the porch on delivery day.

It was a great system.

We used to get milk delivered twice a week until the business was sold last year.

I have a bunch, great for organization and storage.

When we lived in Illinois, we used to have milk service. Unfortunately, they discontinued the service due to theft. Yes, people were getting robbed of their milk from the front porch.

The ones you buy today are weak compared to the old ones, thin plastic.
