I put them in a bowl. I've figured out the most pennies I will need at any given time is four. If I have to use them, my next cash purchase(s) will restock the supply.

The wife and I started picking up any change laying on the ground and put it in a jar. Kids at schools hate change and just throw it on the ground. I also find change at gas stations. Anyway we do that for a year, started it last year and after a year we had $157 in our jar. It’s fun now picking up pennies and other change, most of the change I find are dimes or quarters.

I have change jars everywhere. They work good for weight.

Watch your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.

I try to pay with change so I don't accumulate a lot of pennies.
When we do my wife rolls up all the change. Twice a year the credit union has a turn in your change event and we turn the rolled coins in then.

I have walked by this for months and was stuck in the tar on the road at the intersection of Bardin Road. Today while walking to the store I used my knife to pry it up. Yes, I'm that cheap.

I have an old 105mm shell from my tank crewman days that I toss all my loose change into. Every once in awhile I dump it on a table, sort out anything rare & unusual, and take the rest to my bank for the coin sorting machine.

Save them until my container gets full then cash in and go to the casino....

I've had some for 20 yrs in a pillow case when we moved .

I have an old 5 gallon tequila jug I got in MX decades ago. All our change goes in that and when it gets about half full we cash it in and put it towards a vacation.
