My Son and SIL went to Jacksonville and both said they would never go back. They said the accommodations were very questionable and the trails were just a bunch of mudholes. So far Mena Arkansas is their favorite place.

I talked to a guy at a nearby powersports shop this afternoon, and he told me about the Trophy Club Park north of Fort Worth and Lake Murray State Park in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He said the Lake Murray park was really nice. He also confirmed that Hidden Falls Adventure Park near Marble Falls was really nice.

What are some good trails to drive in North and Central Texas? I am in the Fort Worth area but willing to travel. I want to see new scenery.
What are good sources of Texas trail riding information? (Forums, etc.) I’ve done some searching.
Thanks! Shane

Northwest OHV Park is in Bridgeport, not far from us. We are going there next Saturday morning for the trail tour.

Arkansas has more trails in the National Forrest than you can shake a stick at. 100’s and 100’s of miles. We meet tons of people from Texas and Louisiana that drive up here to the Ouachita mountains and Ozark mountains bc they say everywhere in Texas is mud riding. And yes, Tex Plex moved to Missouri just outside of Branson

My wife and I road our ATV at the Northwest or Endeavor OHV park in Bridgeport today on a guided tour. It is a nice big place with a variety of trails, driving challenges, and obstacles for all skill levels. There were lots of jeep type vehicles there, but it was not too crowded. Give it a try if you are in the area.

I drove mountain trails in Red River and just outside Pecos, New Mexico last week. The fall colors were at their peak and beautiful.
