Beryl may bring some flooding, but also needed rain in south central Texas. Hopefully it wouldn’t cause major damage anywhere. angel2

IF it makes landfall where they have it now, there should be minimal damage. But if it does the usual northeast track, it should put several feet of water in Choke Canyon! This is the perfect storm for Choke!

Not anymore, probably won’t see but 10 drops of rain now.

Looks like here in Southcentral Texas and the hill country we are not going to get that much. Forecast changed from 5 to 6 inches of rain to 2 to 3 inches. Looks like East Texas and the Houston area are going to get hit hard . There is also a chance that the storm could tilt a little more west when it hits Texas. If it does we can get the 5 plus inches of rain in my area . hmmm

My go to hurricane prediction site says Palacios now. Puts most of Central Texas on the dry side.

As long as Hurricane Benadryl lowers the temps by 10°. I'd be happy.

A nice summer shower is all I'm asking.

Right now I'll be happy with a cool breeze and Temps a few degrees under 100. At least for a couple of days anyway!
All those folks that moved down here are getting to see what it's really like to live in south Texas. roflmao

Bummer. I was hoping this would help the drought areas.

I was hoping for some help in south and central Texas, but not going to happen with this one. Better luck next time.

Side Note: Praying for those living in the Houston/East Texas area. They are getting hammered with ALOT of rain. eeks

Yep! Done. It slid east and Houston and south east Texas gets flooded again & the ones west that needed it missed out. Houston can’t catch a break this year! [Linked Image]

Sure do wish it had gone way west of where it did. The lakes to the west sure do need it more than we do.
Lake O the Pines is still 1.64 feet into flood stage and rising before Beryl gets here. Lots of 3" to 4" totals Sunday from the first outer band of rain and they are calling for 8+ inches today thru Tuesday morning.
