Is lake Grapevine open? Where’s the best ramp to launch at. Thanks!

Grapevine is open and the water levels are dropping. It is still about 16 feet high. The only ramp I have seen open on the Grapevine side is the Farris Branch ramp. There are a couple of private ramps at Scott’s Landing and Silver Lake Marina, I am not sure of their status or cost to use.

Oh it’s open, but hope you don’t mind flipping picnic tables and trash cans because it’s still extremely high!

Brutal Bass Bite, and I mean Brutal. There is so much submerged cover that the bass are in heaven. You can launch at the only ramp (Ferris) and never start the big motor. But to be honest, it's really tough and I would wait until the water level comes back down to full level. The usual spots that would hold fish, are ghost towns. If you think outside of the box, you might run across something different. Night bite is way better than the daytime bite.
