I have a 60's era 16' Alumacraft with the 3 aluminum bench seats. I want to put some sort of reasonably comfortable padded swivel seats on the back and front bench seats. Don't want to spend a fortune on this project. I saw some seat bases at Acadamy that clamp on to the bench seat and have a swivel base to bolt on a padded seat. Something like these http://www.outerbanksoutfitters.com/product/169690088.htm
Anyone ever used these or have any other ideas on bases and seats for this boat? If you're not familiar with the style of boat, it's fairly skinny with a pretty good V bottom up front that tapers into sort of a rounded flat bottom at the back. No platforms or anything like that. I'm also looking for recommendations on the seats themselves. Thanks...Jon

Give a child a fish and feed him for a meal.
Teach a child to fish and they stay hooked on something else besides drugs and violence.
