From the posts looking for CO fishing and river information, it appeared some data sources might be helpful to TFF members planning trips. Here are some of the places (by region) I used for info during the 1980 to 2012 years living in CO. Almost all of the fly shops have active web pages with hatch charts and/or stream reports. A map will help locate the rivers within each Area although some rivers span several areas.
"General CO Fishing Info" Chuck Fothergill published The Colorado Angling Guide which covers most rivers in CO with Maps and Hatch Charts(it may be out of print and certainly out-dated as to access); -----"General River Info" there are a number of websites with both daily and historic river flows like www.riverreports.com";---- Southern Gunnison Area-GSO Flyshop in Gunnison has a reports page---- Central Area-Dillon/Frisco Area: Mountain Anglers-Frisco----North Central/Steamboat Area: Steamboat Flyfisher, Steamboat ---Aspen Central Area: Taylor Creek Flyshop, Basalt---Front Range Area: Anglers All, Littleton----Southern Central Area: Conejos River Anglers...
Hope that helps; enjoy the summer waist deep in cold water
