If I’m not mistaken it started yesterday in Tyler. Also if I’m not mistaken the Brookshire brothers are from Longview and that’s where the store started. One of my HS classmates (female) married into the family.

Back in the 70,s there was a guy bombing Brookshire stores.

Originally started in Lufkin as Brookshire Brothers and 7 years later one of the partners traded his partnership in exchange for the Tyler locations. Tyler locations became Brookshires. I believe that's how the story went.

If next month they take it from $2 to $3.90, donothin will laud Brandon for lowering inflation.

The Brookshires in Seven Points is open. My 70 year old neighbor went to work this morning.

God bless the Brookshire family !... they put up stores in places the big guys would never think of cause the population isn't big enough to support a heb or krogers... Walmart needs to buy out the Brookshires and make em wally-world food stores, be a smart move...

Not sure why HEB is mentioned here. I think they have like 4 total stores in the world. I have never seen one

The Brookshire's in Bridgeport was a really good store before COVID. It's not been the same since. Their prices are insane as well. These days we only stop if we need a single item or two.
