Take a student fishing, he eats for a day, teach a student to fish, he brags about how he caught the biggest fish!

Today I was able to take Carson, one of my students, fishing with me. The morning was a bit slow with the cloud cover. We didn’t mark too many fish, but as soon as the sun peaked out, the fishing turned on like a light switch.

I taught Carson about how to run the HEYbuds in both vertical and sawtooth methods. He is an avid bass fisherman and had little trouble learning either of them. Our first hybrid that we found was from a small group of surfacing fish chasing big shad. Carson threw in and got hit hard by this ABSOLUTE HAMMER. It was 1oz away from hitting that 8 pound mark. Carson was pumped.

We finished the day with 72 white bass, several of which went 16+ inches, 15 Hyrbid and 2 Gaspergoo.

The 15/17 inch sandies aren't bad either. Catch a 13 inch and say "oh a small one".
It's in Oklahoma, but we'll let that slide.
