Yesterday I had the privilege of taking a good friend and former player, who I coached in 2011-12, along with his kids out for our annual summer fishing trip. Sam brought Marley and KJ down for our third annual fishing outing. Marley is 5 and KJ is 9. Marley was excited to get to fish this time. She was able to reel up her first fish and she loved it! She even got to touch it between the eyes

I feel so fortunate to have coached so many players that I continue to have great relationships with.

Fish were tough to find early but as soon as the sun peaked out, they started munching hard and chasing bait. We had quite a chaotic 30 min to end our trip. Finished the day with 44 white bass and 8 Hybrid.
