I pour plastic lures of all shapes and sizes and one day I was stirring hot plastic with a serving spoon. A film was left on the spoon which I let cool.
I figured: why not lay the film on a floor tile and cut out the shape of a fish using a box cutter blade?The film was thin and needed a body to put a hook into, so I dipped the plastic back into the hot plastic half way, 4x, letting it cool between dips. The more dips the thicker the body.

Years later I found a mold - Mo Magic product name - that produced the same thin tail only a lot qucker::
Key to the lure's success is the thin tail that flutters with the least motion. Fish of all species slam it even in winter! Jighead weights I are 1/16 oz. or lighter and can be used with the
minnow under a float, dropshot and Beetle Spin:
