Totally ridiculous

Bought the wife a new Jeep in December and rates were in the 6% range... She's been searching for a lower rate ever since to refinance and hasn't found anything... Her credit rating is in the 800's... Dan

4.99% doesn't sound bad.

Yeah, if you are prepared to not be brand specific I have seen the manufacturers throw out some lower rates lately.

Credit Union of Texas had the best rates by far when I purchased back in February. Their application process is easy and can be done over the phone or online. They are also open today…..I think until noon.

I had a guy here yesterday at 1030 AM. We agreed to numbers by 11. CUTX had his purchase order by 11:05. At 4:45 the CU told him he made a late payment on a CUTX credit card in 2018 and was denied. I had him approved in less than 10 min. That's not the norm but I can't believe they strung this guy along all day. On average a customer is at my store like 40 min.

When a manufacturer has a special rate it’s usually in lieu of a rebate. Depending on how much you’re financing it may it may not be beneficial.

As far as 6% being outrageous it’s actually on par with historical averages. Everyone just got too used to the feds pumping money into the economy for the past 20 years.

Got rebates and 1.9, and was 5k less from the other two dealerships.
It was very beneficial

Not sure if they are still running that or not though.
Son just bought a new Tundra at around 2.5%
