Used a $17 24 inch diameter 3/4 inch thick pine round and primed it with gray then sprayed on gray stone finish Rustoleum and top coated with Rustoleum clear.

Does it have decent bass ?

It sounds great. I'll update with a youtube video....yes, those are hockey pucks for feet. Brand new they are $18 for a box of twelve. Probably a dollar each at Play it again Sports.
