I am looking for a small or compact jig. I am thinking like 3/16th but something that can skip but has a very stout hook. Any suggestions? I want to find something that's versatile and will get a lot of bites to build confidence with a jig. Trailer recommendations would be helpful also.

He makes an awesome power finesse jig in 5/16 & 7/16 both with a 4/0 heavy hook.

The Santone finesse jig has a heavy duty hook in it for its size. I've hooked and landed fish up to 9 lbs on that thing and have never had any issues with flex/bending.

Throw a speedcraw on the back and it will skip just fine.

Thats my money fish
