I started the day catching live bait! Bait had been fairly easy to get. I had an awesome family join me at 6am. We went straight to the first hybrid area and sent down the live bait. First fish was a 19” hybrid! It was on! We caught a mix of sand bass and a few more keeper hybrids for about an hour straight. Made a couple moves picking up sand bass on live bait but nothing staying under the boat. We headed up north in search of sand bass on bo blades. It didn’t take long for the crew to master the technique and fish flying in the boat! Ended the day as it warmed up and headed back to the ramp! This pattern plus trolling will continue most of the summer!

Good seeing ya at the ramp, Steven, and great report and piic. Stacked Up Fishing knows how to get it done! That tree was two feet under water a week ago lol.

We found the mother load of classic Twok magnums in the South that lasted for couple hours. Was very surprised we only caught two barely short hypers bc hypers usually hang out with/near the magnums. My special need brother had a blast even though he caught a dozen by himself bc his brain can only process up to 3 steps of instructions at a time. Lol

Hey Blazer Bay feel free to say hi any time! I’ll do the same next time I see you out there! Early morning bite was best. Until Todd gets out there of course lol. We had an hour of hopping around until we found some biting again. But that’s the fishing part of fishing I guess lol.

Haha twok fish are my pets and I got them trained
Will do boat maintenance and be out at noon today. I was out Wednesday (Juneteenth) from 1045 to 330pm and found good fish at several spots. Lots of twok mags showed up and 1 legal hibbie on a boblade and couple of barely shorts on the HEYbud. Good luck out there!

That’s a great day Steven. I had the grandson’s out this morning starting at 8:15 until 12:30. We kept a few for a fish fry tomorrow night.

Friday 6/21 noon to 630pm was very good. Lots of twok mags and a lucky day fior me with 7 hibbies on heavier spinners that I made. Most of the community holes held fish.

Heck yea! This week was a great week for everyone! Love it! I really started guiding part time to help supplement some income for having a baby. However I have really enjoyed the trips that have kids included. I have always tried to fish at a very fast pace so it keeps the kids involved. I find ways to catch fish fast and that even the less experienced kids are having fish on! It’s great seeing the next generation catching!
