Robert and Anthony Joined Me Saturday Morning on Lake Tawakoni! Very calm morning with little winds. Bait was easy to catch. Just had to make sure I had plenty of big Shad. We took off at 6am. We checked several areas early and ended up shallower than normal dropping live baits. We stayed about 100ft away from other boats in 15fow. A group on another boat waved us over. We combined our splashers and the fishing went nuts. Every drop was a hybrids or Sand bass depending on the size of the Shad. Robert and Anthony caught their 10 hybrids with several throwbacks and most of their limit of sand bass by 8am. We took off looking for structure fish on east side of the lake but we really didn’t see much until we made it to the west side of the lake. We finished up the limit and continued to catch on release sand bass. Bo-blades caught most of the fish for the rest of the day!
Tawakoni is fishing great and I throughly enjoyed the company!
