I have emptied the gauge 3 times in last 24 hours total of 7 1/8" here in Burleson

Rain all night. Lightning, high winds.
Today is trash day. Can was set out yesterday. I was expecting the wind would blow over ever can in the street. Filling the street with lunchable boxes, blunt wrappers, and baby wipes.
We lucked out. I haven't seen any cans turned over.

By the time it dries out enough to mow. The grass will be 4" taller.

By the time it dries out enough to mow. The grass will be 4" taller. Totally! My yard is a swamp right now. If I were to attempt and mow, I'd be stuck in the first 5 minutes.

Once it's 100°. I'll scalp it by cutting it during the middle of the day. That'll stunt it until fall.

1.5 inches here in Central TX overnite! County roads look like they have been clusterbombed! 0ver 16 inches in May total.
