Absolutely. Crying shame what they've done. $30k+ engine replacements for spun bearings. Ridiculous. I had some trans solenoid gremlins in my '08 Tundra a month ago and decided to have the dealer put a remanufactured trans in since I am creeping towards 200k miles. Dealer told me they couldn't get one for 3 months so I told my service advisor I was going to go look at the new ones and I'd get back with him. He looked to his left, then right (to make sure nobody was looking) and slowly shook his head NO. He then whispered "Stay with a 2021 or older. Any one of our certified used '21s on the lot will outlast the new ones." I figure the issues gotta be real and not just a bunch of internet drama going on if a service advisor at a Toyota dealer is telling customers that. Decided to just put a new valve pack in my trans for now and keep the ol girl runnin. Found a reman trans at a San Antonio dealer that I may buy and squirrel away in the garage until needed.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading

Hey, it could be worse.
You could have bought a Dodge. With the folks working the Dodge assembly line knowing after the, 'last call'. You're going to be laid off.
Now they're having horrible quality control issues. Bonding agents left out. Rust proofing half [censored]. Cracked windshields from the body flexing. Engine failures. With a resale value falling lower then whale poop. And that's on the bottom of the ocean.

It’s nothing but a poorly done ford knock off in my opinion.

In the last 2 months I have received 4 postcards or letters from the dealership that I bought my 2017 from. I sent back 2 with my thoughts on the Gen3 and told them not to bother sending any more.

My paid for 2020 4x4 with 90 thousand miles on it gets more beautiful every day. Resale value is off the charts good (40 K to private party KBB and I paid 47 for it) Unreal how they hold their resale value.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.
