A long time ago Uncle Josh pork frog was the only bass jig trailer I used never thinking that a soft plastic trailer could do well. Nnot having to deal with jars and the difficulty of taking the pork off the hook, I made a plaster mold of the trailer and poured hot plastic into it.
This was the original:

Within a few years many companies started selling many different soft plastic trailers in different shapes. Many shapes work not just those designated as a trailer such as grubs with curl tails, plastic worms, craw lures, etc.

What jig and spinnerbait trailers do you use?

UV speed crawl, I have less confidence in pork and soft plastics in the shape of your pic.

The 3.5 lb bass was caught today on a skirted jig with the plastic trailer poured from the mold shown.
The bass is lying on a seat in my bass boat.

I use Netbait Paca Chunks, in almost all of the colors. All the colors catch fish, it's the action of the bait that triggers the strike.

Couldn't have said it better. That combo has caught more bass for me than another other lure. Next would be the plastic worm (including the Senko) and spinnerbait.

I use the Stanley Pro-Trailer on all spinnerbaits.

For jigs I use the 5 Texas Crayfish colors. This is my favorite, which is hand poured.

Im a big fan of Yamamoto baits I like using 4" twin tail grubs on my finesse jigs and 5" single or twin tail grubs only regular jigs. My wife and have had multiple 40 fish days from mid march thru july but with fish 3 to 4 times a week we have 3 lakes with in 18 mile of my home. And 3 lakes between 35 to 60 miles we also fish.

On a spinnerbait I use either a 3 in curly tail grub or the Zoom split tail trailer... On a Chatterbait I use a Yamamoto boot tail senko... On a jig I still use Uncle Josh pork frogs... When Uncle Josh announced a few years ago they were discontinuing pork baits I stocked up on the frogs and Big Daddys... Dan

Never heard of a Yamamoto boot tail senko.

I make copies of Strike King Rage Craw in a plaster in different colors:
