It not an attractive. What scents and flavor do is delay the time the fish figures out it's not real.


Scent and flavor give a longer window for setting the hook.


Again. They don't attract fish. It just keeps the fish from spitting it out as fast.

It does to a certain degree. I do not think it does to the degree the makers says it does.
I basically use it to take the smell of the banana I am eating off the lure.

I use a bunch of Pro-Cure scents.


I've noticed fish will try to swallow it instead of splitting it out. Crappie is one. They'll keep it in their mouth longer.


Anise scent seems loved by a lot of fish. Main ingredient in Liquorice.

Lonnie Stanley used to produce a product called Stanley Jiggin' Juice back in the 80's and 90's and I used it religiously back in those days, it seemed to work.
Everything is so scented these days I don't know that you wouldn't mess up a lures ability to get a fish to hang on if you added anything to a lure pre scented.

If you can’t feel a bite with today’s rods, (especially the Trina), line, and tungsten weights, nothing will help.

I got out fished by a man who owned fluttermaster worms back in the 90's and he was using wd40. It helps

I've been spraying the stuff at Walmart on my soft plastic and jigs since it was a thing... I stopped when the soft plastic came with sent....never really noticed much difference but, I'm a soft plastics guy...I know what every kind of bite feels like so, I don't have lag time in hook sets...like at all, probably for 35 years

WD40 was used long ago, because they used some sort of fish or shellfish oil in their old recipe. Not anymore…
